I struggled with a flavor for Emma. As she was one of the main characters here I felt I needed one, but she is hard to nail down. I stuck with Lemonade for a few reasons. #1: Life has thrown Emma a lot of lemons, but she has survived them and made more of herself. Like the old saying, she’s made lemonade. #2: A bit of a nod the the iconic yellow VW bug. I hope they never get rid of it! #3 Lemonade has two natures, it is sweet, and it is tart. In the same way, Emma is not really sure of herself, her character can change and have many sides. Above all that, lemon makes for a nice refreshing scent and should be pleasant on the lips!
